These things swing. Reminds me of an old Altec Lansing 4B. I used to have CV D9's and I know they are fantastic, just wasn't sure about the mobile sound. I was not disappointed. Good bass and treble.

I heard about Cerwin Vega from my boss and saw that they have car speakers. Just wow, if you hook them up properly to a good amp and get the crossfades right you'll be in for a shock when you do your research.

These speakers sound great! I hooked them up to my amp and they don't produce any distortion. You don't really need a tweeter with these speakers. I have them front and back. splendor!

The bass in these speakers is just unreal for the price. Well, as for the treble, it sounds good when mixed with deep bass, but that can be corrected with the equalizer on the radio. It seems that with this product, judging by the reviews, you get either a well-made speaker or a defective one.

These things give them a twist. $80 per set. A bit high but worth it. They can handle some power and even in some small 6x9 boxes they hit almost like a 2 10 in a truck. I bought them for my truck and the HED series for the women's car and they hit almost as hard and still sound good. But in Vegas they are much louder.

I've been a big fan of Cerwin Vega products since the 90's. I have used 4 dual axis 4 ohm 12's in my S10 and have never had any problems. So I bought a couple of these in July 2020 but I wasn't able to install them on my hard cases until March 2021 when I got my Cerwin-Vega B54 1200W 4-Channel Class D Black Stealth Bomber Amp. Less than 3 months later than one of the strikes 6x9. That's very disappointing. Now I can neither return nor exchange them.

One of the tweeters exploded in my car a week after installing it. It sounded like a .22 pistol had been fired behind my seat and my entire truck was covered in some kind of fibrous insulation. I don't even have enough watts for them. I didn't have time to snatch them out of my truck to return to Revain, so now I have to deal with Cerwin Vega Mobile, a separate company from the original Cerwin Vega. Obviously, quality doesn't come first. Very disappointed with my purchase.

Installing it in the front doors of a 2021 Chevy 2500 has greatly improved the sound quality. I just run them from the original head unit. There is no amplifier.
