Works as advertised. Finally a champagne container instead of wrapping it in a kitchen towel to keep it cool for drinking. I usually like Korbel, which has a broader base than other wines. It fits perfectly. No complaints at all.

This product keeps open bottles of wine cold. The sleeve fits snugly on champagne bottles but is comfortable enough to use. It works better when the freezer is very cold. this is cool! This is the best way to keep champagne cold without storing it in the freezer and risking an explosion. A simple item but does exactly what you want it to do. My only suggestion is to buy a few more cooler inserts (Vacu Vin makes some that even cover most of the bottle and they work great for this cooler). An irreplaceable companion for every champagne lover!

What it does well is to keep the bottle cold if left on the table for a while. I also noticed that the cooling sleeve slowly draws in air, making it difficult to cool.

I have no idea if this will chill a room temperature bottle of wine to serving temperature in 5 minutes, although I doubt it. What I do know for sure is that I took a bottle of champagne out of the fridge, put it in the fridge and an hour later the last glass we drank was colder than the first! I have no doubt that this cooler will keep wine cold on the table for hours. I also like not having to deal with melting ice and wet labels. Very satisfied!
