It does not stand vertically, even if you lean against something - it leaves on the floor. In the process of cleaning, if necessary, you just have to put it on the floor, but in principle it has a good position for this (not on its side, but horizontally, it normally lies flat, leaning on the engine).
To switch to the mode of a handheld vacuum cleaner and connect nozzles for furniture or crevice, effort is required, the stick comes out of the groove tightly. It may still be developed or I will adapt.
Vacuuming carpets with a regular nozzle is almost useless, because. it doesn't have a brush. But even with the previous large vacuum cleaner, I cleaned the carpets with a furniture nozzle, so I hoped for the same scheme. But:
With a furniture nozzle (small brush) it is moderately effective, my last vacuum cleaner somehow coped better. The brush constantly rotates, which is inconvenient when you try to move along one path, and it shifts back and forth due to the applied efforts and the gravity of the vacuum cleaner. I realized that it’s more convenient to clean the rugs simply with the brush head itself (without a vacuum cleaner), and just periodically put what aculates on the brush into the vacuum cleaner that is turned on nearby. Dull, but it works.
The length of the wire is slightly not enough to vacuum both the room and the kitchen without switching between outlets (another half meter-meter would be enough).
The wheels on the brush immediately clogged with wool, but it seems to have been cleaned out, and this is true for any vacuum cleaner.
