Vacuum Fix FBA_AH21606 38528 033 Windtunnel Review

Perfect fit for my Hoover vacuum which was listed under the options that should fit. My vacuum had lots of screws to remove the cover but the strap was easy to install.

So far, so good. Regularly tapped into my old filter in the trees behind my house. This is washable but has not been washed yet. This vacuum cleaner had to be discontinued many years ago. Now 10+ years old. Replaced this filter, final filter, brush rod and belt. All with parts ordered through Revain.

The first strap in the pack of two broke almost immediately after installation, a few seconds after first use. The second belt broke on the next use after a small cloth got caught in the agitator. I have a Hoover Widepath Tempo (a very common base model) and found the strap installation unreasonably tight. It fits, but after a lot of effort tried to stretch. The original belt has served me for years with similar usage. I'm not sure if those tires are old or what but I was expecting a bit more.

I have to admit I'm not the most conscientious of vacuum cleaners and every now and then something accidentally gets caught in the roller brush. The first set of straps worked great for several years until I came across the wrong tip. This new belt I ordered also worked fine but was much tighter and a little more difficult to put on the vacuum belt. But everything is fine. They have been supporting my old vacuum cleaner for almost ten years and it makes me happy.

Yesterday I had to put the second belt from this order on the vacuum cleaner. The first one broke, lasted less than 2 months! Surprisingly since I live alone there aren't many people in my house and I don't have to vacuum more than once a week. In fact, the straps feel too tight when I change them, even though the product number is correct. Maybe old tires, maybe a broken belt, maybe an accident. But I have no plans to buy them online again. I will be going to my local vacuum shop to inspect…

Worked well. I have a Hoover Tempo Widepath Unmanaged Beast that sucks up things it probably shouldn't and this belt is good for that too. If you are interested in changing the belt, just unscrew the bottom (4 screws), pull out the pulley and the belt will be on the left side. Simply wrap one end around the roll and the other end around the bar above that sticks out in the recess. You will need to pull the pulley a little to stretch the strap long enough to retrieve the pulley. Then just close…

Got my straps in the mail today (for my Hoover Tempo handheld vacuum 38528-033 in bag). I found the broken original belt and compared it to the ones I just received from Revain. New belts are much smaller than the original belt.
