Based on my observations during a recent paintball game, this chest protector provided excellent protection without hindering my mobility. The reversible design allowed me to switch up my look easily, and the adjustable straps ensured a snug fit. One small downside was that it doesn't offer much ventilation, so I did get a bit sweaty during the game. I bought this for my first paintball game. It's lightweight and I was initially skeptical of how much protection it would offer. I first tested the airsoft rifle at 300 fps from about 40 feet. The balls bounced off immediately and I didn't feel anything. You hear the beat more than you feel it. FYI if you are using this for airsoft wear it under your shirt or other clothing.
