Vallejo 8-Color Face/Skin Tones Paint Set (17ml): Achieve Flawless Skin Tones with Precision Review

I don't know what the model's "dark" skin tone is, but it's far from it. I have a dark skin tone from Vallejo Game Color and it is indeed a dark skin tone (see image for comparison). I gave the model paint a good shake to make sure the pigment wasn't mixed well. After 5 minutes on a motorized shaker, everything is still the same. I am so disappointed in this purchase that I could have asked for a refund.

I nonchalantly dreamed of having 8 different complexions to choose from that I could easily refurbish refurbished bisque dolls from. Well forget it. I fell into the nightmare of mixing and matching colors, which I never had much talent for. This foray made me give up the whole idea of repairing cracks in an antique biscuit table. Instead, I update everything else as I did and just list the dolls "as is". It's just me - those who know how to mix and match may find this color palette very useful.

I bought this palette to enhance skin tones when painting miniatures. When I received them I was hesitant as others said it wasn't skin tones. We have to argue with someone else's assessment. If you assume that a single color is used when painting flesh, you are wrong. I worked with a wet palette and mixed colors to create smooth transitions.
