So far so good in food

I switched from Esbliac puppy replacement to this one. My squirrel has been doing this for 2 days. As long as he does it well. He seems to love it. He's already 4 weeks old so maybe I'll switch to 20/50 soon. It also handled EPR very well, but I decided to switch to it since it was built specifically for small creatures like him. I want him to be as healthy as possible.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as fat as other options

Should have known better.

Used for newborn squirrels. Raising kittens, puppies, lambs, and children, I needed to know to stay away from packaged formulas. As soon as I started adding these drops to the homemade formula, baby went wrong. He just stopped eating, becoming dehydrated and wasteful. We've returned to the homemade recipe from the wildlife rehabilitation center and it's slowly making a comeback. It may work for some, but our experience hasn't been good.

DO NOT BUY THIS good for groceries

DO NOT BUY THIS almost killed my baby. I went two days without sleep and fed him water to administer the formula. It sits in his stomach like cement. I found this out because he only got better with the hydration and when I gave him intermittent puppy food every time I tried to reinsert it he would start squirming, losing energy and pooping heavily. Experienced rehab people know NOT to buy this, please don't repeat my mistake.

Quality formula for small animals

This formula saved two children's kits. I've used KMR with whipped cream and probiotics, but some orphan kits didn't work. When I found this and started using them I had a set that was 3 weeks old and another 5 days old and they switched right away. I've found that KMR still dehydrates kids and KMR is only 25% crude fat versus Fox Valley One is 40%, a big difference. Thanks to this product I have two successful rabbits that are gaining weight. Rabbits love it and it's very easy to mix and…

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers

Small animals made easier

2 pinkies found on the front door. I think they are 3 days old. Years have passed since I raised my children. I read reviews and guides so I bought 32/40 to get them started and then switched to 20/50 when their eyes opened and hair started to grow. They liked it. I know you should use a syringe but my arthritis wouldn't let me so I used a dropper and fed her from her mouth. With these formulas you could see them growing every day. Very happy with Fox Valley Day One. Everything went well. Now…

The only thing I will use for my rabbits!

I hand raised a rejected rabbit kit (domestic) and bought it after despairing because the recommendations I found online for the modified KMR just didn't work and the kit just didn't took the weight. The thing works! Don't try KMR for a few weeks if you have sets that you need to pick up manually, just use it to go through them until stuff arrives (luckily for me, 2 days with Prime) and then do it never touch the KMR again. . I keep a stock on hand for when I know I'm expecting a litter soon…
