Works almost immediately as advertised due to external corrosion and rust. Also, the black plastic fitting is so large that two of them will not work with a standard brass star fitting.

A much better start for Camco TastePURE filters. The 5/8" inner diameter restricts water flow less and feels more durable. The standard fitting on our TastePURE filter leaked after just a few months of continuous van driving.

This is so badly made I can't believe it. The female end is plastic, the male end is stamped brass, very thin. I ran it at 65psi with the male end connected to a hose with the valve off. Wash the male end separated from the bellows. What a waste of time and money. Handle

I recommend this as it's well made, doesn't leak and is 5/8" in diameter. I pressure tested it with the end cap and bent it around, mind you with the rotating spring it can be difficult to tighten and I had to lightly clamp the brass end with a vise; You can't pinch the hose, and the female end rotates, as does the spring. large rotating female end as I lost some power.
