💧 Valterra RV Water Regulator: Lead-Free Brass for Camper, Trailer, RV Plumbing (40-50 psi) Review

If you are a glamping this is a must for your motorhome. We've been to several state parks where I was concerned that the water pressure would blow out one of our lines (this actually happened to one of our fellow glampers). This regulator completely eliminates this risk. Well designed, durable and the clutch is easy to grip.

When I first came to this park there was a high water pressure warning sign. I ordered this controller quickly to prevent any problems. It came with my Revain Prime account in a few days. This is a great product. The large plastic handle makes installation easy and the regulator is very well made. I haven't had any issues with high water pressure so it works.

I'm new to motorhome driving. We used water without a regulator. The pressure was normal. As soon as I installed this regulator, our pressure became ridiculously low, worse than a kink in the line. I relocated the regulator from the inlet tap to the other end of the hose that goes into the camper. No pressure changes. I don't know if this is normal or if the regulator is defective.

My house is right under the city water tower so our water pressure is above average. On my outdoor faucets, my plumber read 100psi on the water gauge. The average psi for most blenders is 50-60 psi. The problem I had was that the high pressure blew out light garden hoses. Sturdy ranch hoses will do, but are awkward to pull across the yard. So far this regulator has given me everything I could have hoped for; It's well made, durable, easy to assemble and built to last. I bought these for use with outdoor faucets at home because repeatedly, but accidentally, standard garden hoses broke the full length of the hoses.
