I recently bought an exterior window frame and when I received it I saw that it meant buying both the interior and exterior together. It becomes important quickly. I went back and ordered the domestic one too. While it's "perfect," it's not exactly perfect. The original window frame had 4 screw holes on each side, they have 3. That's why you need both.
