Like most people we bought the standard brown drain hose when we bought our van. Once, when connecting and draining, a crack formed on this hose. As we all know, no one ever wants to find a crack in their hose, especially not in the immediate vicinity of the crack. Pros: I liked that each hose folds down to about 28 inches. I have a small camper and this was exactly what I was looking for. Cons: 4 things: 1. The hoses were obviously repackaged/returned - no discount for a used/opened box. This hose consists of two parts (not a long hose) and an elbow that fits into the drain hole. The website says the hose fits/stores in a regular trailer bumper, but that's not exactly true. The hose connectors have a handy little tab to give you a better grip so you can pull two pieces of hose together. Well, these protrusions prevent you from inserting the collar into the bumper. I purchased a 20ft kit with an additional 10ft extension. I had a similar set of these hoses and used them for about 5 years with no problems. I left them with my old trailer when I sold it. I tried two different drain hoses (Camco brand) from Wal-Mart, but they didn't fit the 4" plastic tube I use for my hoses. and does not fit in the bumper of my new Puma caravan.
