Hose connection is very low to the ground when fitting the coupling into the sewer pipe - if the sewer pipe is pulled up then not that much of a problem, but if the pipe is flat or worse embedded in the ground then the connection of the hose very difficult. My previous version (which broke) was actually raised about 1 inch, but this one isn't.

I bought this item from Revain and it was full of BZB Marine and RV. First there was a delivery issue which turned out to be a USPS error. BZB Marine immediately sent a replacement, which we received before departure. As for the product, it suits our needs perfectly, we have two hoses with this fitting so we don't have to swap ends when choosing a shorter hose. It's hard to like sewer equipment but I give it 5 stars. I've used several dump stations, setting the hose in place and holding it with a rock or something handy, but having this fitting is a lot more convenient. Then we had to use a tipper station with a much smaller fitting. It would be very difficult to use without an adapter that tapers less than a hose. I'm very glad I had it when I really needed it and it's always a nice convenience.

February 15, 2015 This type of coupler needs to be attached to the terminal adapter. I would prefer a clear transparent plug rather than the dark red opaque type. The advantage of this type of coupling is that the base fits and will conform to most dump station fittings when inserted. It has a triple diametral attachment to adapt to different fittings of unloading stations. Cleaner and more efficient without the mess.
