This is my third remote control valve replacement in just over a year. The T-grip frame is separated from the outer cable jacket and thus the valve can no longer be operated remotely, ie the inner cable and outer jacket move together while the outer cable jacket remains stationary. The frame of the T-handle must be firmly attached to the outer sheath of the cable to allow the inner cable to move independently to open and close the valve. within 6 months prior to lock detachment. I bought one for 3" and one for 1.5" so both tanks are closed. Not difficult to set up. The key is to have everything ready before you begin. If you know where you're going, also buy a good respirator to put on your face and nose. Protect all exposed skin areas. If you can, put on a full-face plastic mask.
