I bought this toner after getting tired of overpaying for a well known brand. I waited while printing several hundred pages with this toner. Well let me tell you I will never go back to more expensive cartridges. The quality and quantity of the print is in no way inferior to the brand name. The only minor downside is that the ink takes a few seconds longer to dry. If you can afford to wait, don't let the fact that you have a well-known brand fool you.

Good value for money. I don't have a problem 95% of the time, but I've found that the print is more prone to smearing when printing on certain types of cards. I didn't have this problem at all when my printer had a Canon toner cartridge with the same paper, but as soon as I changed toner cartridges the smearing started. I just installed my first ValueToner cartridge in my Canon LBP6030W a few days ago, so I don't have much experience with it. However, the cartridge was packaged well and all pages printed so far have been as you would expect. So far I'm very pleased and look forward to updating this review as the cartridge prints more pages. UPDATE 3/28/17: I'm still printing with the first ValueToner cartridge I installed over a year ago. I don't print many pages but the cartridge worked great.

Great inexpensive alternative to my Canon LBP6030W. The installation only takes a few minutes. Take out all the packaging and tape and just stick it in place and it prints the first page right away. The toner my printer came with lasted a couple of years. I'm a regular printer so if it only lasts a year I'm still very satisfied. I took a chance, even if it sounds and looks like a very off-market dollar store brand or something, because I used a generic brand for my dad's expensive printer…

The price couldn't be better. Compatible with manufacturer's toner cartridge. The print quality is a bit lower, but this is a black and white printer used for school worktops, so it's perfect. I'm still using the first one we bought a few months ago, bought a second one as a backup. We went through two semesters of the first and passed 2/3 of the third and he's still going strong. You cannot exceed the value.

Bought this a year ago however, as my current cartridge got lighter, I installed this one. I couldn't even get it to print 1 page before I had to delete it, not sure if it's blank or some other error? I put my old cartridge back in and it works great, tried again, nothing! So I ordered more spare parts, unfortunately from the same company, so let's see if they work this time, pretty bad specimens by now, but at least I can type!

. The first one was clean but this newly installed one has stains on the left side as you can see in the photo. I'm pretty sure it's the cartridge because I cleaned everything and the old cartridge still prints clean. Of course, you don't realize a cartridge is defective until you use it, and if you buy more than one cartridge (like me), the return period expires. sooo be careful. Don't buy more than one at a time; You can't be sure what you're getting.
