What a great price. I bought this to replace the toner on my LaserJet P1005 and couldn't be happier. The print quality corresponds to the original. After installation, the printer driver will warn you that you are not using a genuine HP toner cartridge. Press OK to ignore the message and print with a new toner cartridge.

Used in HP Laserjet P1006. Some cartridges print too light gray. They are beautifully black and match my laser printer. I don't know yet if the ink will rub off the file labels like some do, so I put a layer of masking tape over the label to protect it.

It's about time to replace the cartridge in my HP P1006 and as others have said here actual HP cartridge prices are crazy. For those who have big bucks and want a "famous brand", of course, go for it; However, for most of us, a $100+ cartridge is not an easy pill to swallow. I made the choice and am extremely glad I did. My P1006 had literally no problem recognizing the cartridge once it was installed and it prints dark, rich blacks. Even better? The price would be worth one, but there are two.

I had some doubts about this purchase but HP cartridges are so expensive that I decided to give it a try. Delivery came as promised. The two cartridges are well packaged and look like new. I had no trouble installing them in the printer. When I ran the test page I got the message "Hey, this is not an HP cartridge" but it went away. We'll see how the performance holds up over the long term, but so far so good. I am happy with this purchase.

I have always used HP products and have had great luck with them but the price of their cartridges is ridiculous. I got 2 cartridges cheaper than the price of an HP. Installed just like that, the print quality is good. After I installed it, the HP printer software told me that I would void the printer warranty with a non-HP replacement. bad.

I'm a teacher, so I print class copies on my small HP desktop printer almost every day. To say I would spend a lot of ink would be an understatement. If the toner with my last name lasted only a few weeks at the start of the school year, then that toner has lasted 2 months (which is a lot for me) and my ink level is below zero. still high. I bought these toner cartridges for my HP LaserJet P1006 home printer. The prices are much lower than in the store. This is the second time I've bought the kit online and the first time I've had a little trouble installing it. It didn't line up right away, just slid into the slot. I had to try installing it a couple of times. After installation I tried to print. The page prints, but immediately the message "CARTRIDGE MEMORY ERROR ON BLACK". Cassette data cannot be read. Reinstall the cartridge.

The price can't beat this item. I've used laser printers for years, but toner cartridges are overpriced by major manufacturers. We print quite a bit and the information printed is no worse than that of major manufacturers. They don't have as much toner as the very expensive ones, but they are very inexpensive to replace. My cards print faintly, maybe this is a setting I'm not familiar with.
