Horrible texture ruins arts and crafts

I recently bought a white modeling clay for my sculpture project. Based on my observations, the texture is horrible, it's way too sticky and overly pliable. After molding, it doesn't dry completely and retains a tacky feeling. The only pro to this is its white color, which blends easily if you're mixing with other colors. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this product and discourage other crafters from wasting their money.

Pros
  • Easy to mold and shape
Cons
  • Dries out quickly if left out in the open air

I use this for elementary school to stop animations. It holds its shape best while still being soft enough for young hands.

Pros
  • Known for its smooth texture and bright colors. This clay has been used in many award winning clay sculpting productions. It is favored by sculptors, model makers, animators and artists of all ages.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Will fall apart if not kept at a constant temperature above 70 degrees. Not a big fan of the product yet. I wish it was a little more stable at lower temperatures.

Pros
  • Certified by ACMI (Art and Creative Materials Institute). Safe, non-toxic and gluten-free. Contains no hazardous chemicals that may harm children or pets.
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
