I bought this for my husband. I got a shaving kit a few years ago and it took about 3 years to shave once! He's in love with this thing, he'll never go back to shaving cream. At first I thought it was a listing for one bar. I was pleasantly surprised it was for 3! I would happily pay $11 or so for just one because my husband is so happy with this stuff.

Like all Van Der Hagen soaps this is a quality product. Foam and protection are retained during the shave and the face remains smooth and soft. This company's shaving soap never ceases to amaze me. This soap is wonderful. I recently ran out and had to use Gillette All Purpose Foam and shave, the redness is back. I usually give 4-5 days of wax before I shave. I usually complain that my razor was a problem and always make sure I only use the razor 1-2 times but don't try the soap. Also, the thing lasts a long time, I ordered 5 pieces in 2015 and they just ran out. One to try, then fell in love with men's shaving. After shaving, my skin is smooth and refreshed.

I don't know what happened to Von Der Hagen but they appear to have dropped their best product, their GLYCERINE SHAVING SOAP which was orange in color and had a wonderful clean fresh scent. Whenever I smell Van Der Hagens Luxury Soap, I am instantly transported back to the good old days of buzzing electric shavers, scissors, and casual conversation.
