👕 Comfort and Style: Van Heusen Short Sleeve Aviator Men's Clothing Shirts Review

I'm 5ft 6in, 140lbs and slim. I bought a 15" neck. I had to trim the sides about 1 inch on each side for a good fit. I had to do this with my other flight shirts so I knew what I was getting into. You get what you pay for. I bought a more expensive version of this Van Heusen shirt at my local store for $45 and then ordered this one from Revain for a lot less. The Revain shirt is much thinner, almost see-through and definitely not wrinkle resistant like the more expensive shirt.

I bought this for my husband because he likes the color blue and doesn't notice the flaps on the shoulders. I mistakenly assumed that the items on the wrong page were the same shirt in different colors. I'm so stupid. So it REALLY looks like a military uniform or shirt, so if it's not, keep looking.

I have worn these shirts to work for many years. I usually change 4 at a time every 1-2 years. When I received this delivery, I was deeply disappointed. The material is so thin that the threads sticking out of the stitches stick out everywhere. I had to cut them all off. Too bad and after over a decade of use Van Heusan are either disillusioned with the quality or they aren't genuine.

Ordered 2 shirts. 1 was ok, but on the other the pocket flap was not sewn in the middle and the button was broken. In addition, the fabric is very thin, as can be seen in the photo (the ironing board pattern shows through). If you return one, the other will remain as a backup. I will return to M&H until I find a better option.

What the heck. The shirt was cut in a very unconventional way that only suited a person with a very unusual figure. The sleeves were quite long but still narrow. The manufacturer of this shirt has changed something. Bought in March, everything is fine. I bought two more in April and am disappointed with the quality. Shirts now have top front pockets that resemble a buttoned "V" instead of a short, bold "U". There is no reinforced backing to attach the wings to. There is no slot at the top of the right side pocket where I attach a crocodile leather clip with my company ID. Wouldn't recommend it.
