21 " light blue neck. Too small, 22 " white neck. too big

The ordered shirt (21 inches) was delivered but was too small. I wasn't sure what shirt size would fit best so I ordered another shirt in (white 22") and it was too big - the single size difference was drastic. IDK what's up but both items are being returned. (( 1 star)) The material quality of the shirt looked ok and had a textured feel - not smooth or paper thin.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old man
Cons
  • waiting time too long

This is a shirt that needs to be ironed every time.

Don't be fooled that you can catch the drying cycle properly, hang it on a hanger and walk away without pressing it. No, it looks wrinkled and needs careful care every time after washing. You will quickly spend more time ironing than the shirt costs. You will tease it every time you put it on. The same company used to sell shirts with the same fabric ratio that didn't need ironing at all. The times have changed.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Back to last year.

Van Heusen is a big name with a reputation BUT this shirt doesn't live up to its name. Seems it's a good fabric and fits comfortably, doesn't wash well. Do you remember when your mother had to iron all your shirts? And you've realized that if you've moved and been alone, you should enjoy that work too. Well those days can be brought back to you with this shirt. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No color required

I have worn Van Heusen shirts for many years and I always take care of them myself. My white shirts that I wash, bleach, starch and iron I bought six and threw away three because after washing and bleaching each had a pale yellow streak 12 inches long and 2 inches wide, and all three were in the same place. The other three didn't and looked great. I'll probably throw away the rest and buy my shirts elsewhere. Sorry, Van Heusen has always been my favorite shirt.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
