Good quality for the price. Impressed with the stain protection that actually prevents sweat/moisture. even in extreme heat. No joke. But in my opinion this is not a fitted shirt. Too much material at the waist and not enough length to tuck it all in. I also suspect it's a stain repellent, but a shirt that's been through multiple washes definitely smells like chemicals. If you are sensitive to this smell, this can be a problem.

I bought this with a blue Calvin Klein plaid tie and although different brands they matched perfectly. I bought these for my 22 year old son who doesn't like to buy clothes other than t shirts. He was also given a pair of navy blue Dockers pants to wear to the funeral. He looked great in all of this and he can wear it to other fashion events and look stylish. Just received this shirt. This is a beautiful shirt, color and texture and it suits the body well. But it didn't arrive in the original packaging. It was pretty wrinkled. As if it were supported like a ball under a heavy load. Then it unfolds and folds into a makeshift bag. I tried washing it to smooth it out a bit. Like all my other Van Heusen shirts. This wrinkle-resistant shirt requires careful ironing. Hope it works. The sleeve length is also a bit off. Seems to be taking longer.

Van Heusen used to make subtly tailored shirts. I'm not sure when they stopped trying. I suspect it's about cost savings. They are cut and fit just like regular fit shirts. So be prepared for a huge backlog when you put your shirt on. Too flawed to be called thin. And I'm pretty athletic. No offense, but for those who say it fits well, I'm assuming their waist is a lot bigger than mine.
