Odor okay. It does not smell like pure vanilla oil, instead it has an "air freshener" smell. You can smell the coconut oil in it quite well. The bottle arrived in a plastic bag but it leaked a bit so my house smells a lot like vanilla now. I'm not mad about it, I just found it a little funny.
