This thing doesn't climb at idle. As trite as it sounds, this is a good quality SD/MicroSD reader/writer! The most amazing thing is how they combined micro USB with regular USB. To be honest I've never seen this before, but it seems incredibly durable (more than a standard micro USB connector). The transfer speed is good and I had no trouble deleting the files I needed. It is compact, cheap, high quality and fully functional. Used in Windows 10, with an SD card it is successfully read on a PDA.
