European standard charts say EU 39 is 8.5-9 so these shoes are too big. I added a few layers of soles to make them fit better. I waited 2.5 months for them so I was sure I would wear them. Great shoes! Cozy! I will wear until I decide to sell and buy a smaller pair.

Bought these for my husbands because his eagle claw toenails put holes in his old vans (unlike this style). Although he's had them for a year now, it might not be because of the claws and crispy paws. In any case, the shipping took a long time and I think 3 pairs at this price are stupid. Hopefully they are worth the price and wait.

I'm a size 12-13 and have tried all the stealth socks on the market. Most of them fall/don't fit at worst or are tight and uncomfortable at best. Not these, they feel like I'm wearing a full size sock. Extremely comfortable, but everyone else feels like I'm not wearing socks. Very stylish! They are so beautiful on the leg that you don't want to take them off.

Fit well and last a long time. As long as you know how not to overstretch them and abuse them unnecessarily, they'll be good for a while. I was very unsure about the lack of overhang, but they seem to fit well and stay in your fit without much slippage. The small rubber element on the heel helps in any case and does not hinder you when wearing it. I have several pairs of these shoes and will continue to buy them.

I love Vans socks. They are of such good quality and more durable than most implied socks. The rubber is great too! Even over time, the elastic never wears out and causes the socks to slip under the heel in the shoe, which is one of my main issues with low profile socks. The price on Amazon is often lower than buying socks directly from Vans unless they have a decent sale. You really can't go wrong with this. LOL I can't believe I just wrote a sock review. 😂
