This mount is well made and durable. The kit includes 8 screws, 4 black screws to attach the SSD to the bracket and 4 silver screws to attach the bracket to the drive bay of your case. I have an OCZ bracket and it seems weak in comparison. Worth buying!

Nice and solid construction. Well made and does exactly what is advertised. Holds my SSD very easily and securely. I recommend to anyone looking for a 2.5 to 3.5 inch adapter. Note this is not a 5.25 inch converter.

I bought two of this model in 2011 and was so impressed that when I needed a different SSD tray I looked at the model number and bought it again. However, they changed the thread size of the screw holes on the sides so this tray is no longer ideal for my use. While the screw holes on the sides of my older Vantec HDA-250M trays are threaded for hard drives with standard "6-32" size screws, the screw holes on the sides of this newer version are threaded for "M3"/size CD-ROM (see…

It would be nice if the product used standard screws for attachment, like every computer case and hard drive. industry standard. That way, if you have cases like an 804 node like mine, you end up with something that can't be used. It cannot be used as the node bolts are standard for the chassis and the Vantec bolts are micro sized.
