Smaller and thinner than the suction cup mount, this Vantrue N4 adhesive GPS mount prevents accidental drops from the suction cup windshield. everything seems to be from time to time. I'm very happy with it, works great in my setup.

Great product. Allows me to switch from one car to another with one click. The USB-C port is on the side, not the top like the suction cup N4. The worst part is the side opposite the N4's rear camera port. Now I have cables coming out on both sides.

Much better than the old suction cups! The only complaint is actually a compliment, I had to move the camera around a bit because this mount is significantly smaller than the old suction cup mount, because I have a permanent mount this meant moving some wires up top to keep everything tidy. Thank you for finally bringing this to market!

The reason I bought this mount was because the power connector is on the side. This allowed me to get the windshield mount as close to the headliner (well, actually the rear-view mirror) as possible. The cable connector for the standard assembly is at the top. So I couldn't mount it flush with the bottom of the rearview mirror (2017 Highlander). We use this adhesive mount for the Vantrue N4 DVR. Why? In March we were in a car accident that smashed our car. We had footage of a man running a red light and hitting us, but our dash cam was knocked off the windshield on impact (I think I can understand why there are dash cam manufacturers that start with adhesive mounts).
