We use this adhesive mount for the Vantrue N4 DVR. Why? In March we were in a car accident that smashed our car. We had footage of a man running a red light and hitting us, but our dash cam was knocked off the windshield on impact (I think I can understand why there are dash cam manufacturers that start with adhesive mounts). Our rear camera is glued and never fell off, so I thought it would be nice if the front camera was glued too. I recommend cleaning the area where you attach it to the windshield in your car so that it doesn't fall down later on the road due to dirt and particles that may cling to the adhesive mount (I used brake cleaner and didn't have one ). problems).
