It really works if you follow the instructions in the YouTube video!

Having never touched a sewing machine before, I was able to fill the machine and hem my pajamas in 5 minutes after watching a YouTube video. I couldn't believe it actually worked, thought it was a gimmick and I'd return it. As for durability I don't really know, I've hemmed 6 pairs of pajamas and they're still working. It's plastic so don't drop it, but for $30 it's a killer.

Very beautiful! (REDACTED THREE DAYS LATER) UPDATE!

Got this in the mail about an hour ago and played around with it a bit, it's really cute and would be perfect for what I need. Not bad for $30! The only thing I would like to say is that the leg lobe is a bit slippery, that may just be for me, although even if I keep squeezing it, it sometimes starts and stops very quickly. I like the power button to start and stop the needle, I'm making a quilt so I don't have to keep my foot on the petal for a long time when sewing the edges. TO UPDATE ! So I

Buy it! But keep educating yourself!

This machine is definitely worth the price. I bought this after watching Ooni Crafts videos on YouTube. If you really want to know how to use a machine properly, you should listen to her! Some highlights: 1) DO NOT use the cheap filament that comes with the machine. Take everything off the spool and invest in good thread, like Guterman. The fluff from cheap threads will clog the bobbin and jam it; 2) If you used a cheap thread, take a cotton swab, take it out and clean it; 3) A hack I learned…
