Amazing - It Really Works

I've been trying to figure out how to use my high quality Sony HVR-V1U digital camcorder as a webcam for years. It belongs to the Firewire generation. And nothing seemed to work except the old connection of RCA components through a converter which still gave me less HD video. I even invested in a fairly expensive BlackMagic board that couldn't handle video streaming either.
