Accurate and durable thermometer

Based on our own experience, this thermometer is very accurate and has held up well in our aquatic tank. The easy-to-read Fahrenheit display ensures we are always aware of the temperature, keeping our fish and plants healthy. The only downside is that the suction cup attachment could be stronger. Overall, a great purchase for any aquarium owner.

Pros
  • Accurately measures temperature for fish and aquatic pets living in terrariums
Cons
  • Does not provide temperature readings in Celsius

Reading 30° lower in two weeks

Shortly after I placed the sensor in the aquarium, I noticed my temperature continued to drop, but when I checked the mercury thermometer it didn't change. A few weeks later I read 40 degrees Fahrenheit. I have almost 80 in my aquarium.

Pros
  • Fish and aquatic animals
Cons
  • Not sure

Is one right or both wrong?

They show completely different measured values and fluctuating values. I tested both in the same tank under the same conditions and found a difference of 5° and only 2°. If they don't show the same readings, at least one of them is wrong. But not knowing which one makes them both useless.

Pros
  • Aquarium thermometer
Cons
  • Updates
