I found this rather by accident (divine intervention?). My husband has been sealing and taping his console split cover for probably 5 years. The price was much lower than I expected and I was skeptical despite the great reviews. There weren't any instructions to install this, but it's pretty much self-explanatory. Changed in 10 minutes, everything fine. I'm so glad I got rid of the tape!

Looks great considering our original paint is peeling. I wish it was done better given the price, but I changed the issues myself and got it working. Pros: - Color match was accurate - Easy to install. I stapled it a little tighter and it looked a lot better, but there were still some minor flimsy plastic fasteners. One of the plastic parts for the screw broke slightly during assembly.

I got this because my old console latch broke in several places and all the issues were fixed. The 'leather' looks very high quality, as does the stitching, and the clasp works very well, not difficult to open and also snaps if you let go while open. It was pretty easy to assemble, apart from trying to screw the console cover onto the hinge, to make things easier I would slide the seat all the way back so you have more room to hold it in place while you screw it in. pretty cheap replacement

I am grateful to these third party companies that make wear parts for regular vehicles. This item looks great in my truck and gets rid of the signs of aging where my elbow sits all the time. My elbow broke and it ended up looking bad. My state is very harsh on interiors, bakes them to death, and making them look good maintains the car's value. I probably wouldn't pay as much as GM wants for this new item, but a reasonably priced, perfectly fitting double is very welcome. If you own one of these
