I have a few favorite proteins, but I'm never averse to trying something new. You can watch my uploaded video and take a peek inside the glass and shaker. And in words I can say the following: - The taste is not very chocolatey. Pretty sweet, but not chocolatey. It doesn't even taste like cocoa. - a feeling of sandy sediment. this is sand The protein dissolves well in cold milk. There are no lumps. However, there is also no feeling of an airy whipped cocktail, but only a dissolved mixture withโ€ฆ

Terrible taste, protein cosmetics are almost entirely pea protein

I can't stand the taste, it doesn't taste like chocolate and leaves an absolutely horrible aftertaste with a pasty consistency (which was amazing because it seemed relatively good to mix with water). Regardless of the taste, the protein content didn't convince me either. The pack says 30g of protein is derived from a mix of peas, alfalfa, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Sounds good, but the problem is that when you look at the ingredient list, the first three things (in that order) are peaโ€ฆ

Not the highest quality. I remember Vega

Vega used to pretty much rule the world of vegan protein powders. I remember years ago this was one of the top vegan tasting options; I remember there was a lot of good in there and there was no junk. Either my memory is failing me and covered Vega in gold dust, or I've been spoiled with better options since then. Here's the thing: There are many other vegan protein brands out there now that are simply better quality, better price, better taste, and cleaner ingredients than Vega, sorryโ€ฆ

Pros
  • being a handy thing
Cons
  • So far so good
