I bought this tool in August 2021 and it worked great with no issues, I don't need it often but I really like it concept how everything works i took a tool to grate carrots with it to make carrot cake nov 2021 the clear plastic part is torn now i can't use the product nor can i return it so i'm to the original returned way of grating vegetables, etc.

I wanted a cheese grater for pasta night. I liked that this one was turquoise, which matched the theme of my kitchen, and that it had three different styles of cheesecake. It is very easy to assemble in seconds and even easier to use. You simply place a block of cheese on top and turn the handle and in no time you have grated cheese. The family enjoyed using it. Everyone should create their own cream cheese for salad and pasta, it's a great addition to the kitchen.

Bought mainly to grate cheese lightly. Used it with hard cheddar blocks and it was more trouble than it was worth. First the cheese had to be cut into matching squares. I knew that before I bought it, but little did I know that a good chunk of cheese would get stuck between the grater and the clear plastic piece that came with it. It didn't rub easily and didn't give me the kind of grid I wanted. Also, I tried slicing cucumbers with it and the sliced cucumbers were so thin they just fell apart.

The really nice thing about this grater is that it clicks into place during use. I have tiles on the shelves and they fit a square, which made me very happy. Once locked, this thing doesn't move. I use this for a variety of things, cheese, veggies and even some fruit for slicing. The blades on this grater are very sharp so I'm very happy that it comes with a lid which also helps to mash whatever you're chopping or chopping through.
