Easy to stick - just use some water and stick.

SUPER! Just make sure you actually measure and cut lol I didn't do that. and I put it in rather casually, and some of the light reflects quite a bit through these tiny centimeter areas! So if you want pure darkness, measure and cut perfectly. ;) I suggest a larger roll for regular bedroom windows - I ordered the smaller window first and I had to cut it into several sections to cover my entire window. Although the large size works great. Easy to stick - just use some water and stick! Brush off…

WARNING: The film is torn on our glass unit

Bad: Our expensive large glass unit is torn and needs replacing (see photo). Space to avoid overheating in the sun. It was pretty easy to put on and easy to take off. Note: We live in an area that does NOT get very hot. The sun shines directly through this window, but the outside temperature never exceeded 80 degrees. But even on a very cold day (17 degrees), the black film got very hot when exposed to the sun. We didn't notice any cracks until the film had lasted about three months.

Disappointed: Window Films

This product definitely blocks light. However, do not place it near windows that are exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. One of my bedroom windows was absorbing so much heat that one day it spontaneously cracked. It wasn't even very warm (78F). The hit has no effect. Our window specialist told us that such films do this in high heat or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. He said the crack's pattern was certainly the result of thermal shock to the glass. So the price was reasonable…

Great for night shift workers

This film completely blocks out all light. I installed it on a south facing window and a west facing window and the bedroom is now completely dark during the day. It is also an excellent insulator. I was able to put it on the windows myself, I just needed a second person to help me remove the protective film. A few tips: use the sharp tip of a knife (e.g. an Xacto knife) to separate the films in the corner; Be sure to put some liquid on the window to help adjust the film. I used a degreaser…

Gift from in Home Goods

Bought 6 rolls for a paying job. I had to trim the edges to make room for the LED strips. The product was very easy to install and use. The best installation advice I can give is to use a spray bottle filled with water and just a few drops of Blue Dawn dish soap. I shook it and sprayed on both the window and the chain itself. Soaked but not dripping. Immediately put it on the window and slide it in. Using a flat credit card (not numbers, like an insurance card or hotel key card) and making…

Oh! Welcome, sweet cold.

Benefits – Great price, easy to install, does exactly the job promised. Cons - not yet, I'll rate durability in a few months. the brutal Southern California sun through my southwestern main windows. This article fully meets all requirements; reversible, i.e. no permanent obligation; liable only, so no damage; Best of all, no bars/screws/straps/accessories! My $0.02 is ignoring the included cutting instructions and cutting an inch over with a utility knife to snip off the excess after…
