good sentence. Very difficult.

Well built set. Everything was well organized. However, if I had to do it all over again, I would pay a few extra dollars for the block collected. Yes, this would save you hours of tedious assembly, but it would also ensure you get a working device. The board is pretty solid. I was so excited as I neared completion that I installed all the ICs upside down in their slots. Shortly after plugging it into the USB port, I noticed a burning smell. I unplugged it right away, flipped the ICs right and…

Perfect all in one solution

I bought the pre assembled version of this board (bought elsewhere as Revain doesn't have a pre assembled) and it's just amazing. I wrote a C++ program that uses a DLL to read/write to/from the board and it worked in no time. Obviously you need to understand the programming lingo to use a DLL, and luckily I'm comfortable with that. so with runtime binding using LoadLibrary() and GetProcAddress() it was easy. But there are even easier ways to use a DLL in .NET. And the methods included in the…

The best circuit board for computers and accessories

This is a well designed circuit board, we have potable water full of red iron here, I built a water filtration plant to remove iron and it has a main pump and 2 valves and 4 water level sensors, with this board and a windows computer it will run a water treatment plant and keep us clean usable water since 2004, this is board number 4, I would like spares just in case, this is a new board, the one running raspberry Pi 3 is connected to perform water treatment.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Long wait

I had a great time putting this kit together.

I bought this set on sale, until I opened it I didn't understand it was a set. I had a lot of fun soldering and connecting all the parts onto the printed circuit board (PCB). It took me about five hours from unpacking to turning it on. I took my time and carefully inventoried the parts prior to assembly. I checked resistors and diodes before soldering. After that, it turned on and worked perfectly, using all the features available in the demo program. The documentation is spartan but contains…

Great kit for computer components

Bought from another site for a lot of money because I never thought to review Revain. Otherwise this is definitely a great set. Clear processing and screen printing, the manual is a bit sparse, but clear and concise and leaves no doubt about the assembly and polarity. The only issue I had was a non-working LED which Velleman supplied an extra for, the only component they did this for, so it's either their amazing foresight or this is a particular problem with these LEDs. My board is slightly…
