Review on Velleman K8055 Experiment Interface Board by Richard Jarvis

Bought from another site for a lot of money because I never thought to review Revain. Otherwise this is definitely a great set. Clear processing and screen printing, the manual is a bit sparse, but clear and concise and leaves no doubt about the assembly and polarity. The only issue I had was a non-working LED which Velleman supplied an extra for, the only component they did this for, so it's either their amazing foresight or this is a particular problem with these LEDs. My board is slightly different than the one shown here and in fact in my manual the board has a row of holes labeled SK9 to which a 5 pin power connector needs to be soldered. It looks like it has something to do with digital I/O, but I haven't delved too deeply into it yet. got me a little confused as I couldn't find a headline for it in my bag. Apart from the broken LED, this was the first project that doesn't happen too often and I think it can be explained by the great design and board space.
