Good for what I need

Good for my needs but the advertised 250ft range is a bit over the top. I've been fortunate that it fires the shutter at best at 30 feet with a line of sight outdoors. Just know this before you order. Again, this is fine for my needs.

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • Something else

Great for long distance shooting

I was working to improve my photography skills and wanted to be able to shoot remotely without line of sight to the IR sensor. This works well for distance, interval, and time exposures. Easy to install and use. Haven't had any trouble setting it up or using it on a shoot lately.

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Cheap but poor quality

Do yourself a favor and save some money and buy one of the higher quality remote controls. You will also have many additional features. They have poor quality control, they're cheaply made, cheap components. Mine worked the first time I used it, wouldn't connect no matter what I tried the second time. I've tried everything and I'm a high tech senior sysadmin with years of experience in photography. I'm glad I came back and bought a better device, good luck!

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Poor manual
