Works well, lasts 2 years in direct sunlight

This replacement was easy to install. Bought in 2014. Worked 2 years, stored in the sun. Now it has turned to dust and needs to be replaced. I don't know if you consider this intelligent life or not. I think this is typical of this type of plastic, I believe there is an alternative type that is more sun resistant. I will keep looking for it.
