Only use over range.

Can only be used in a van. I bought this thinking it would fit in a roof hood exhaust fan. big mistake (my fault). It's pretty flimsy plastic, but it will do the trick.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I used a micrometer to measure the diameter.

I used a micrometer to measure the diameter of the shaft (0.095 inch) and then ordered the right size fan blade. Installation by simply sliding it onto the motor shaft. Remove the panel and screen to install, but this gives you a chance to clean an area you don't reach often.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Exactly what the doctor ordered

My original fan blade was fifteen years old and so brittle that the blades broke with a very light touch (I was about to rotate the blade to check the bearings!). The new wing snapped onto the shaft with some effort - as befits a tight fit - and has been working flawlessly for over a week now. Looks like the blade will last another fifteen years if the motor lasts that long.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Very easy to assemble, just push the fan against the slots.

Very easy to assemble, just push the fan against the splined shaft. Be careful how hard and how far you have to push the small motor by hand so it doesn't bend the shaft. Most of the installation time was spent removing the cover from the vent housing and removing the old fan blade parts from the vent grille, otherwise it was fairly easy.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are issues

Not compatible with the engine shown.

So I needed a new bathroom fan motor and fan blade. I ordered the motor and noticed that "other people bought them too" showing this fan. I also ordered a knife. After setting the damn thing up in my tiny RV bathroom, standing on a stool and pushing things aside, I found that the hole in the fan blade didn't match the splined shaft on the motor. I managed to slide it halfway, put everything back together, and found that the blade wasn't high enough to reveal the screen underneath. Disassembled…

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Worked for what I needed.

First find out which fan you need, ie hole diameter and round or D. Look at the fan and determine the required flow direction. Carefully remove the fan. Apply some grease to the shaft and into the fan's "hole". Gently push the fan blade. That's all. They are not expensive. Fan blades become brittle after years of exposure to UV rays. Now I have a few extras in my squad. I suspect they will last for years, but it's always good to have a spare, whether for yourself or a pal in need. Again, they…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
