Ultimate Protection: Venum Muay Thai/Kick Boxing Ankle Support Guard Review

I've recently ordered some Venum gear and they must have changed the manufacturing processes or something. I don't see the quality in their gear anymore. Lots of flaws and fit issues that weren't there before. I will no longer use Venum for my MMA needs. Switched to Hayabusa and Title.

The stitching ends at the bottom of the foot, so the thicker patch starts to bother my foot after so long, so after so long, I'm not very comfortable. Otherwise a good product, don't expect the logo to stick, it's another company's product and they just put a plastic press or something on it to rebrand it to theirs. -_-

As said, the quality is not very good. Wanted to save a few euros and got it back after using it twice. I think the snake decal is cool but it peels off almost immediately and worst of all the real protection wears off after two sessions. I'm trying my best, but I'm not Buakaw as much as I'd like to be. It cannot be that the quality monitor is worn out after two sessions. This is not good, returned, buy something else from a reputable Thai company.

Didn't even fit on my ankle. Size 13 feet, tried on once and thrown away at the gym because they were awful. Disappointed with my purchase, I do not recommend the touch, not the best material. Would have sent back but washed and lost the packaging, ended up losing it after about 3 days from just putting it aside from my travel bag.

Overall good fit and support but the ankle hole is too tight. I gave one to a friend in a class and she had the same problem. For reference, we wear women's size 8 and 6.5, and the ankle cuff indicates it's large. This is my second set, bought as a gift. I reached out to this man to ask if he had the same problem and he too said that the heel digs into her foot and leaves a bad mark even after just 20 minutes.

Doesn't fit. The top edge is very tight, but the body of the ankle brace is very loose. Written to fit most and they only come in one size. There is no way to choose a different size. Venom's sizing chart suggests I wear a size M with one of their other ankle braces. The tags indicate size L. Too big so not supportive at all. I bought two of these and they both work well but I don't think they will last very long. after washing, the logo and lettering will not fall apart or come off. I have two kits and the black and white trim kits have held up great so far, even after accidentally going through the dryer. I'm more than a little pissed that the $5 extra reds are falling apart so quickly. I'm also a 13ft tall so they are pretty snug on me but not too tight. Advantages: Reasonable price for a pair of simple hocks. The stitching looks pretty solid and as always the Venum products look the coolest. It's convenient too. Cons: They're a little loose for support, so if you have foot or ankle problems you may need something narrower. The sticker was already ripped off when it arrived (see photo) although this is a cosmetic issue so I'm not overly concerned about it.
