🦁 Venum Predator Mouthguard - Universal Fit for All Sizes Review

Tip: DO NOT LEAVE PROTECTION IN THE CAR ON HOT DAYS. He will melt. In hindsight I guess it was some kind of idiotic act on my part, but I lost 2 kappa because of the freaking southern California heat. The Predator is a definite improvement over the Challenger as it offers more points of protection and a much more secure fit. My main pre-purchase question was whether it was worth paying more for the Predator and I'm glad I did.

This was pretty easy to make to fit my bite, just follow the directions and be careful taking the guard out of the water - my spoon deformed the upper edge a bit . I'm a small woman and this thing is really quite bulky and it interferes with my breathing and speech more than I would like. I probably should have picked a young guard. If you have a small mouth try both this size and the youth size if you can afford it to see which fit works best for you.

I use them every day for Muay Thai and BJJ. They're easy to mold and fit well, but they don't protect your jaw or absorb shock like their competitors. Iv has used Jawwz and Shock Doctor and both brands protect your jaw and brain better. I have a really sore jaw after sparring with the Venum mouthpiece. I also find it a lot easier to rock myself when I wear them. Look for a different mouthpiece if you plan to get slapped in the face.

I like the mouthguard because it offers good protection (which is what it was designed for) and I definitely like it for that. The only thing I personally don't like is that it's definitely thicker than you think, even if you look at the picture for reference. It's hard to talk to and a bit difficult to keep your mouth closed naturally, but it's all in exchange for some really good protection for your teeth, so take the cons or leave them Protection stand :3

Prevents teeth grinding when lifting weights and broken teeth in martial arts. My brother and I do Muay Thai and BJJ so there are a lot of direct and indirect attacks to the head that can cause the upper and lower jaws to collide with great force so this is a must for those sports. Easy to fit and damn cheap, the only issue I had was the mouthguard was worn down at the bottom so I had to cut it out, but other than that it's still functional. Goodbye

My favorite kappa. I found it a bit difficult to mold at first but that goes for all mouthguards unless you have a professional. Basically the thing is good for a ball and I use it for boxing because hitting the sack often gives me a headache because I clench my teeth on the exhale and hit the sack. Without her, my brain would just boil. If hitting a punching bag gives you a headache, be sure to buy a mouth guard or a cheaper one.

Absolutely bad buy. I bought it for my friend who trains in MMA gym. He showed it to me after only using it ONCE for a few hours and it was already falling apart and unusable. Some of the plastic literally came loose in his mouth and he didn't bite very hard. I couldn't be more disgusted with this colossal waste of money product. If Venum wants to sell this crap, fine, but it should only cost $1 or $2. Also, beware of the "one size fits all" statement for their age group. One size doesn't fit…
