🚴 Venzo Adjustable Braze-On Front Derailleur Adapter Clamp - Road and Mountain Bike Compatibility with Shimano and SRAM Review

I decided to solder a new front derailleur because it allows me to cheaply upgrade or replace it in the future without paying for a clip fitted - this Venzo clip is good quality, has a great finish and looks great on the street. Bicycle - the switch is still there!

I bought this while assembling a road bike from frame to tip. The frame was Airobrne Zeppelin titanium and the 101 drivetrain was stripped from a flameless carbon frame. Honestly, there's not much to say about it other than that it works flawlessly. It also matches the finish of my Ti frame so I think that's a plus. But yeah, if you need something bright then that's fine with me.

I used this bracket to replace a Shimano 105 derailleur that had a bracket attached. After removing the 105, I needed this mount to install my Ultegra derailleur. The hanger serves its purpose. However, I replaced the fastening screw with a stainless steel screw because I only noticed rust after a ride in the rain 🌧. Not a big problem because I always use stainless steel screws on all bike mounts because rust is obvious if you can't clean the bike right away. Except for this amazing product!

Not thrilled with the attachment point which is a loose ny hole nut that sits in a hex notch in the yoke. It seems a bit cheap and I was expecting the band itself to have a threaded attachment point, but perhaps it's designed so that the attachment screw doesn't strip the threads on the clamp. It's also a bit harder to thread in the mounting bolt than it should be based on the NY-Loc nut. Aside from that slight pull, the clamp works flawlessly and holds the derailleur where it's supposed to. No
