Works well, quality is not very good

When I received this product, the top gray part fell off. Looks like it was held in place by several strips of double sided tape. So I had to tape it back with rubber glue or I wouldn't know which card slot is which! Bad design and bad quality there. I've had it for a few months now and the only other complaint I have is that the light seems to have burned out, which is good but not good. I liked knowing my device was registered on the computer, but this light is so bright, I'm glad it blewโ€ฆ

too late memory card reader

Bought a long time ago but not used yet. What I've found is that when you shoot raw in the Canon Cr2 file format in my case, you get errors during the transfer. A sign of this is that the preview thumbnails are not available with any software you use to import, such as B. Lightroom, Image Capture, Canon's EOS utility, etc. At first I thought my images were corrupted, the card was defective or some then my imac is to blame, but after turning off the card reader everything is back to normalโ€ฆ

It doesn't work under Computers and Accessories

I installed it on my home computer and it worked the first time, then when I installed it on my laptop it didn't work. The port this card reader was plugged into wasn't even recognized. My access data during the installation are the same. I uninstalled it from my home PC and tried it on my laptop but it didn't work. It didn't serve the purpose at all. Has stopped working after 10 months

Received this card reader last August, works fine. After 10 months of very light use (about 1-2 times a month) it now keeps shutting down briefly and throwing a "Disk not ejected properly" error on my Mac. The error occurs with multiple SD and CF cards and these cards are read correctly by my cameras, so it must be a memory card reader and not my computer or cards. Fortunately, I can copy my images in smaller batches of cards without the . I saved most of my travel photos and only lost a fewโ€ฆ

Okay, but it can't read the latest fastest cards.

Excellent USB card reader. But I have two problems with it. The mini-USB connector on the card reader has become wobbly and, in most cases, is easy to pull out. I don't mean the physical shutdown, I mean this computer suddenly notifying me that it has shut down. The list of problems relates to the mini USB connector in the card reader. Second, it can't read fast cards like the SanDisk Extreme Pro that I use with my D7100. I gave three stars because it's not exactly a bad product.
