Nearly the best in the Camera & Photo category

The mount works well with a lightweight camera. It doesn't have any cushioning, but it works pretty well. The only thing I would like is the ability to mount the handles on the other side. I have found that I prefer to tune them with my left hand. The problem is only in one of the two positions. This will be a good update.

I can't even hold a 700g lens at a steep angle

I've been using the Flextilt head for two years. It works. But sometimes it's not that easy to find the right balance between tightness and a comfortable flex. I was hoping this would be easier to work with. But you can't tighten it enough to hold a large lens at a steep angle. So it works fine. Costs less but doesn't destroy the Flextilt head. Just a cheaper version of the head tilt idea.

Horizontal spirit level on tripods and monopods

Pretty solid product. Especially for such a price. I've exceeded the weight limit so I'm losing locking stability, but that's what I expected. So that's not the reason for the lost star. The lost star is due to the uneven landscape regime. It almost doesn't work, but it's quite annoying when photographing architecture or anything that suggests horizontal lines. So I'm forced to use my larger tripod with leveling head for correction instead of the more portable tripod without. However, I am…

Excellent for the price!

I wanted an L mount for my Nikon D780 but the ones for this camera were unreasonably expensive. This versatile L-bracket is a very good alternative. I have to set it up with plenty of room between the left side of the camera and the mount so I can put my wired shutter button in its slot, but that's not a bad thing. In fact, the extra space between the mount and the camera comes in really handy when I want to hold the camera in my hands. The mount also easily attaches to the camera. (Some mounts

Z mount is partially compatible with Arca Swiss

This is the best design for a Z mount. It works with short Arca-Swiss brackets but not long brackets as shown in the photos (stud mounting blocks how far this Z-bracket can travel over the Arca-Swiss plate). However, I do not consider this to be a significant disadvantage. I love that they have tension knobs that are easy to adjust to desired angles and fit heavier cameras. I also like that it doesn't block access to my battery port on my camera, so I can easily change batteries without…

Very good z-tilt for camera

I've seen a similar z-tilt for cameras in the last year or two. I saw this one and liked that its clamps tighten it in the joints instead of relying on friction. I placed an arca swiss clamp on it so all my cameras can be dropped on it if needed as they have arca swiss plates. Because the bottom of the Z tilt uses an Arca-Swiss plate, I can mount it on all my tripods with the Arca-Swiss clamps. That makes Z-Tilt very versatile for me. I give myself opportunities to adjust the relative camera…

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • weak

I have a Nikon P1000 Coolpix that I use for some astronomy photography. On my tripod, sometimes the height adjustment knob goes down before the camera is high enough. The ball head becomes really dangerous with a heavy camera or a large telephoto lens. The Z mount is a practical alternative. It has the added benefit of helping with low-angle shots too, and the fact that it only changes one axis is a plus in those cases too. This mount has good locking knobs rather than a hex key (too fiddly)…

Works well!

I use this unit with a Nikon F2 film camera with a 105mm macro lens. The tilt works well, the lock knobs are a bit small, but it doesn't really bother locking the tilt. So, as I said, I use this device with an old film camera and when combined with a lens it weighs decently and I haven't noticed any slipping or wobbling. The only real issue I had was the screw that attaches to the bottom of the camera. It has a very small flip-up handle that's too small to grab (in my case) with your thumb and…

Easy to put on and take off, just what I needed

I thought it might come intact but you had to assemble it without instructions. I had to look at the photos in the product myself to make sure I did everything right. The parts feel solid and well built. Gathering didn't take long. The downside of this L-Bracket is that it covers the battery compartment but just like the product photos I'm sure my Canon M50 will do just fine. Works great on a tripod. It also blocks my HDMI and WiFi button a bit, but it's all manageable. I really never use the…
