Better than the Battle brand

My son uses these mouthguards for soccer and he loves them compared to the ones that need to be boiled out. Like most kids he chews on his mouth guard and we have 2 in a season. He likes the breathing hole that helps him breathe in and out constantly.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great for Kids: Sports Medicine

Bought for my son who plays youth soccer and it's great. He chewed on the last pair of mouthpieces, the edges of which were sharp and irritating his mouth. This is thick and reversible and has a vent hole in the middle so you can breathe out through your mouth when the mouthpiece is in

Great product for martial arts.

Bought for my son who is interested in martial arts. He recently got braces on his lower teeth, but only the upper mouthguard stopped working. We cut off the "tail" and it works great. it is to breathe. I like that it protects his lips from braces.

Not worth the money.

I would have included a picture for reference but threw it away. My 6 year old son said it was too big in his mouth and uncomfortable to use. With use it ripped into small fibrous pieces as if it had gone through a paper shredder. I'm worried that my son may have choked on it while playing.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

binkis Because all the cool kids have it.

I usually go to the dentist and give my son a mouthguard, but all his buddies had this "sparkling" mouthguard. I bought this for him. He is 9 years old, has a small mouth and seems to suit him perfectly. Soccer hasn't officially started yet, so I don't know how long he'll be using it. Also, I looked at these things at local sporting goods stores and they wanted $20 for them. So for the price I'm happy and for the style my boy is happy.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Trainer opinion - forward!

I coach youth football and my twin sons are on the team. They both start on both sides of the ball and special teams (no, I'm not a head coach, I coach defenders) so they need good gear that protects and lasts. Like all children this age (4th grade) their teeth are like little bone saws that never stop grinding the kappa. I've tried every type and brand from UA to Wilson to Nike to Shock Doctor. Nothing has ever lasted more than a week, even when the boys tried not to destroy it. They are iron…
