I usually go to the dentist and give my son a mouthguard, but all his buddies had this "sparkling" mouthguard. I bought this for him. He is 9 years old, has a small mouth and seems to suit him perfectly. Soccer hasn't officially started yet, so I don't know how long he'll be using it. Also, I looked at these things at local sporting goods stores and they wanted $20 for them. So for the price I'm happy and for the style my boy is happy.
