Not at all for ethical hair. I've been using it for a few months and I think I'll go back to the Andis brand hair clippers (which are designed for ethnic hair). Now let me be clear, Clippers are fine. They just didn't work for me and I looked for a cheaper option.

I love this clipper. I couldn't wait for them to arrive. And since I cut my own hair, I was dying to try them. I was hoping to get a more professional haircut than the commercial clippers and thankfully they didn't disappoint. I use them to skin my scalp and they're great for lineups. I appreciate 1 star reviews, just wish I'd read them sooner. Received this T-Liner today and immediately went to get my sideburns done which immediately disappointed me as they weren't snug enough to clip and the engine sounds like it won't accelerate. Unfortunately I will be returning this product and buying something better.

Great! Smaller than I thought but never mind they're easier to hold, most clippers slip out of your hand, hit the ground and break most of the time, they're powerful, they're sharp, they're 0 inches, and I can handle these Only recommend hair clippers, they are small, but once you try them, you will realize how much easier it is to trim with smaller and lighter scissors.

I finally found a good bald hair clipper. This is hard to find as most people will see foil shavers in the palm of their hand. They cut too tight, leaving lacerations and causing ingrown hairs, at least in most African American men. These hair clippers are rechargeable, quiet and smooth.
