In general I like it. An automatic version would be easier.

Overall I like it. The automatic version would have been easier to use, but it easily inflated my 35-inch tires and left me plenty of room for a friend. The only downside is that you have to operate the device a short distance from the battery and therefore have to walk back and forth from the device to the tire to check the pressure. Another option I use a lot is 2-person work.

UNRELIABLE, not worth the money

Servicing 2 cars this gas generator is used about 3-4 times a year. The fact that the onboard gauge read about 8psi didn't bother me since I have my own high quality gauge. But when the plastic cartridge (the part that attaches to the tire valve) broke after a few months, I suspected the rest wouldn't hold up. I fixed it myself with a metal cartridge. I used it yesterday for the first time in 5 months and now the fuses are blowing. I'm glad I learned at home and not on the go that it's…

Good compressor, inflates large SUV ties quickly, good product support

Purchased October 2019 Most portable large tire compressors need to be connected directly to the battery as they draw too many amps for the internal power connection of the car. This compressor quickly inflates large SUV/truck tires without blowing a fuse in the vehicle's internal outlet. In terms of performance, I would give it 5 stars. However, some things don't add up. one). The hose is integrated with the compressor, if it breaks, it cannot be easily replaced.2). It's a joke thing. Once you

Excellent Portable Air Compressor

This air compressor works great and inflates my Silverado's tires with ease. The only problem I've had isn't the compressor's fault, it's the outlet in my truck that has a 15 amp fuse and once the compressor gets about 22psi in the tire the fuse blows, so recommend me to get a clamp for the battery. into a 20 amp fused outlet or directly unfused, or if you have a 7 pin trailer plug then insert the 7 pin plug into the outlet as they are usually (in my experience) 30 amp fused (see manual for…

Disappointed with accessories and parts

Over the years I have had several portable air compressors from different companies. This one looked exceptional on paper and I've had it for a little over a year. It recently stopped working and I found that the guts of the part that goes into the cigarette lighter have fallen out. This burned out the cigarette lighter in my new BMW, which is a story in itself and a hassle I won't go into here. Wrong address. I called again, overloaded the part(s), it turned out to be a small spring, a fuse, a

Fast and powerful unit

First impressions: This compressor appears to be solidly built and gets the job of inflating tires done quickly and without the annoying vibration-induced "walking" that plagues many portable compressors. Both the power cord and inlet hose are more than acceptably long for in-car use, and the pressure chuck snaps securely into place. The tote bag is nicer than expected and the overall package looks functional and well thought out. The gauge is fairly accurate, within 0.5psi when the gauge is…

Super compressor when used correctly!

This is a fantastic air compressor. It's surprisingly quiet for what it does and inflates very quickly. I've only used it a few times so I don't have a detailed review, but overall I'm very impressed with it. The pressure cage (with the compressor off) seems to report accurately (compared to my digital pressure chamber). It's super light, comes with a nice storage bag, and is the perfect part I need to "air up" my Subaru Forester's tires after driving on soft sand in the desert. The car's…

No, it's too easy in the Accessories and Parts section

Any headline that uses "Blowing" just looks stupid. This is a very nice little compressor. No, you will not operate your nailer with it. No, you cannot inflate 40" fenders on your jeep. But you don't have to change a tire on your F-150 in the pouring rain as the cars speed past you at 80 miles per hour. Not if you've got that and a can of Fix-a-Flat. You also don't have to get up and go to the gas station to blow the tires on the kids bike. is it getting hot As long as hell! It's a tiny motor…

Really great device. By simply using this you can probably add another 20-30% to the life of your car if you use it and check it weekly. My Sunday afternoon or Monday morning starts with a blood pressure measurement. There are few places to get air for your car/truck or bike these days and sometimes the station block is broken, costs tokens or quarters and sometimes doesn't even meet the requirements of a car tire (35 psi norm). Less than the pressure of a freeway tire between 95 and 100 psi…
