Nice looking little tank, it has so many connections I could do whatever I needed it for and even had to unplug some of them

Used as an extra 'day' tank to power a small diesel generator. A great solution for our shop to fix something others couldn't.

Looks solid, good welds. It is not painted inside. I'm not sure, but when using fittings with NPT threads, the threads don't seem wide enough to me. To ensure my installation I re-threaded and done!, Fits perfectly.

Good build quality, welds and powder coat look nice. The two ports at each end are great, although a third in the middle would have been nice, as well as one at each end of the long sides instead of one for better mounting and connection options and easier draining when tilted.

I've tried sealing the connections with teflon tape through the air (ordered separately) and it's leaking. Very bad. Tapped the tank threads with a 1/4 NPT tap and used blue Loctite and finally sealed it. Thought the threads were a little out of round, probably welded on after the threads were cut into the plugs. I figured buying a well known brand like Viair would fix all the problems. Annoying, but if you take your time it will eventually seal.

Exactly as described, well made and working well. All connections are 1/4" FIP. There are two holes on one end, two on the end, and one each on the top and bottom. I used the top for the pressure switch and pressure relief on the tee, the bottom for the tank drain .Fittings on each end I used for the compressor, airbag, pressure gauge and quick connect for the air hose.It comes with 2 sets of mounting bolts.I would definitely buy it again.

I needed a relatively low pressure "air" tank. The 2 liter tank is perfect for my needs. But check the size you need. I was impressed with the tank's adaptability. Plenty of ports (make sure the port size suits your needs). I can adapt the tank to a variety of different fittings and hoses. Get the adapters you think you need, then buy a few more. I can't speak to the use of letterpress, so see other people's comments. But great for my needs. His adaptability has saved me several times.
