Worked!: Air Compressors and Blower

I ordered this part to make a tennis ball blower out of a beer keg. Piece was just what I needed to convert liquid into air connections to pressurize them.

Bought 2, both leaked

1st leaked horribly at the end of filling. I asked for a replacement that was worse than the first. I have to say that there is definitely a quality control issue. Both returned for a refund.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Upgradable

Works but valve sticks out

Easily connects to existing 1/4" air line for load level RV air shocks. Good brass fittings. It would be 5 stars but the Schrader valve sticks out over the edge of the air intake So much so that when you try to screw the cap all the way down, the valve gets depressed and air starts to flow.

Pros
  • Stupid πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive

Can it hold air pressure?

The first use of the valve is incompatible with the intake of air pressure through the valve. The inside of the valve was a bit weak and bent. Luckily I had several spare hoses and was able to pull a new pin out of one and use it in the new valve. There are two types of pens. Longer and shorter. You need a shorter needle if yours bends easily like the ghost did. Now the valve works great!

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

The Viair inflation valve needs modification.

I installed this inflation valve to replace a leaking valve in my RV's air springs. After installation, I could not inflate the airbags. After lots of leak testing and worrying about the system, I finally found out that the new blower was the problem. The problem was that the core wasn't inserted deep enough into the valve. Realizing this was the problem, I removed the core and drove the #21 drill in about 100mm. 3/16 inch deeper into the inflator. Then I used a 10-32 tap and cut more thread…

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • No power
