Review on 💨 Efficient Inflation Valve: Viair 92839 for 1/4" Air Line Compression Fitting by Scott Channell

I installed this inflation valve to replace a leaking valve in my RV's air springs. After installation, I could not inflate the airbags. After lots of leak testing and worrying about the system, I finally found out that the new blower was the problem. The problem was that the core wasn't inserted deep enough into the valve. Realizing this was the problem, I removed the core and drove the #21 drill in about 100mm. 3/16 inch deeper into the inflator. Then I used a 10-32 tap and cut more thread. This allowed the core to penetrate deeper into the inflator. After all this work I was able to inflate my airbags. I would not recommend this valve to anyone unless this change was made.
